Starks, whose return was first reported by media outlets late Monday, returns to back up Offensive Rookie of the Year Eddie Lacy. General manager Ted Thompson announced the move Wednesday. Drafted in the sixth round out of Buffalo in 2010, Starks ran for 493 yards and three touchdowns last season on 89 carries.
