The Carolina Panthers have named Jim Hostler as their new wide receivers coach.

This follows reports from earlier this month that Lance Taylor would not return to the Panthers in 2019.Hostler has spent 18 seasons in the NFL prior to this season coaching across several positions in the passing game. His deeper connection is to wide receiver Torrey Smith, whom he coached for three years (2011-2013) at the start of Smith’s career.
